For more than 30 years the Alcalá site is fully dedicated to solid forms manufacturing for pharmaceutical industry.
Located in Alcalá de Henares (Spain), 15 minutes away from Madrid international airport, our 23,000 m² pharmaceutical plant is built on a land of 83,000 m². The company has a staff of 180 well trained employees insuring an exceptional quality level which has been certified by various agencies such as FDA, Brazilian, Spanish, Mexican, Japanese and Gulf Cooperation Countries Agencies.

ROVI group acquired the pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations facility in Alcalá de Henares from MSD in April 2010
The plant, named Frosst Ibérica S.A., was one of the largest European plants of MSD group
With this acquisition, ROVI diversifies its Contract Manufacturing offer by incorporating state of the art technology for manufacturing solid forms. This technology broadens ROVI’s current services, which already includes Contract Manufacturing of the aseptic filling of pre-filled syringes and vials as well as manufacturing of suppositories

Today Rovi Alcala exports 75% of its production and serves 45 markets within 25 different languages
